The Froglady!
Nancy Holder knows what it is like to stay the
course for the long haul. She has faced and overcome many obstacles in her
life including a divorce, single parenthood, losing her best friend to breast
cancer, coping with a teenage stepchild, attending her son after a critical
accident while alone in a strange city, and learning to live with her husband's
bone marrow cancer. Through it all she has remained steadfast in her faith
and looked for and enjoyed small blessings where she found them.
As a speaker, Nancy uses an easy conversational
style laced with enthusiasm. She has the ability to motivate and inspire her
audience. She likes people and wants to help them be the best that they
can be. In fact, she considers herself "a people
collector." She has a true servant's heart.
A Chattanooga native and a recent retiree after
32+ years of service with UnumProvident, Nancy's organizational and management
skills are finely honed. As a manager she was dedicated and committed to
getting the tasks at hand done quickly and accurately. She like to say she
'educates through change and to accomplish this she was and is very generous
with her time. The role of mentor/teacher is her favorite.
Nancy also has a sense of humor. Her
nickname, "The Froglady" came about because she likes frogs -- REAL
frogs! If she is coaxed a little, you can hear her imitation of a frog
right down to the ribbit.
